Hi, I'm Elia, but on the internet I go by Vaeriel /vˈɛ͡ɹiəl/. I'm a software developer, network engineer, conlanger, and generally a huge nerd.

This is technically my personal website, but it'll also be the home of Vaeriel Technologies LLC, assuming I ever get around to registering it.

I use she/they pronouns. I don't really care which you use for me, but if you want to be correct, she/they is the way to go.

I have Autism and ADHD, the combination of which is commonly called AuDHD (which I pronounce /ˈɔːdie͡ɪt͡ʃdi/). Sadly, it's not all special interests and hyperfocus, but, yes, I do like trains (and planes, and automobiles).

I like a lot of things, as people tend to. Minecraft is one of my special interests, and I will talk about it in the future (you have been warned). I also enjoy programming, which should be obvious... I mean, look where you are right now. My favorite programming language is C; I don't really have a good reason for that, I just like it.

Beyond programming, I enjoy hacking Linux (I use Arch btw), but I've been working on my own operating system, Subpar64.

I make conlangs, and I have a few that I'm reasonably proud of. Verik is my favorite and definitely the best one I've made so far, though it's absolutely still a Work in Progress™. Here's a little example sentence just for fun: kunnáso ákkse kyokkenthesávdu. It means You probably can't understand this.

Since I enjoy a lot of things, I have a lot of skills. I'm a decent programmer, and I've tried at least half of the programming languages around (well, probably not, but it sure seems like it sometimes). I also write music, which you can find some of here, play the euphonium, and sing.
